Fun 5º bearing technology uses a patented 5º angled bearing structure. Its specially angled interface guides the bearing into position more smoothly, helping center the crank spindle for smoother pedaling and efficient power transfer. Because the bearing seats more naturally, it reduces the installation force normally required when mechanics press conventional press fit bearings into place, allowing easier hand installation and removal. By directing pedaling force and side loads through an angled contact path, the design also improves stability, smooth rotation, and long-term durability.

The 20T Inner Lock system uses a threaded structure that allows the two side cups to connect and lock together through the frame instead of relying on two separate pieces. Because the installation is performed through the inner locking area, it helps reduce the risk of tool slips and frame scratches. Once installed, the thread-together design helps keep both sides properly aligned, creates a firmer fit, and increases overall rigidity for better stability and control on rough terrain. The same sealed structure also helps close gaps where water, dirt, and debris could enter.

This ceramic ball bearing system uses ceramic balls made from an extremely hard material that resists wear, corrosion, and shape change during riding. Their smooth rolling contact helps reduce resistance for faster, more efficient rotation. Combined with AWAKE grease, the system also gains strong protection against water, mud, and corrosion, helping maintain lasting smoothness in rough terrain, wet weather, and demanding riding conditions.
